SAFETY

• By ignoring the safety instructions the

manufacturer cannot be held responsible for

the damage.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be

replaced by the manufacturer, its service

agent or similarly qualified persons in order to

avoid a hazard.

• Never move the appliance by pulling the cord

and make sure the cord cannot become

entangled.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Turn the appliance upside down and place it on a soft surface to prevent

scratching of the housing.

• Screw off the wing nuts from the U-shaped bolt, and place the U-shaped

bolt between the most outer fins with the threaded ends pointing

upwards.

• Place the castor mounting plate over threaded ends of the U-shaped bolt

and screw on the wing nuts.

• Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10

cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for

installation in a cabinet or for outside use.

• When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odour will occur.

This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This smell is only temporary

and will soon fade.

USE

Power knob

• Turn the power knob clockwise to switch the heater on, 1 is for low heat,

2 is for medium heat and 3 is for high heat.

Thermostat knob

• To set the required room temperature: turn the knob to the right as far as

it will go and wait until the required temperature has been reached. Turn

the knob then slowly back again until the control lamp has been

extinguished. The position of the knob now corresponds to the required

temperature.

• To turn off the heater, turn the thermostat button counterclockwise untill it

stops and turn the power setting button to 0.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down. Use a soft, slightly damp

cloth to wipe appliance surfaces. Do not allow water or any other liquid to

get into the unit.

• Clean the air suction opening from time to time with a fine brush.

This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the

end of its durability, but must be offered at a central point for the recycling

of electric and electronic domestic appliances. This symbol on the

product kunnen zeer heet worden en

verwarmingselement niet afdekken.

• Gebruik de verwarmer niet in de directe

omgeving van een bad, douche of zwembad.

• Gebruik deze kachel niet nadat hij is gevallen.

• Gebruik de kachel niet bij zichtbare tekenen van

schade.

• Zet deze kachel op een horizontaal en stabiel

oppervlak of bevestig hem aan de wand, voor

zover van toepassing.

• WAARSCHUWING: Gebruik deze kachel niet in

kleine kamers waar zich personen bevinden die

niet in staat zijn de kamer zelfstandig te

verlaten, tenzij zij onder voortdurend toezicht

staan.

• WAARSCHUWING: Houd om de kans op brand

te verkleinen weefsels, gordijnen of eventuele

andere brandbare materialen op een

minimumafstand van 1m van de luchtuitlaat.

• De verwarming dient niet direct onder een

stopcontact geplaatst te worden.

Afgedankte elektrische producten mogen niet samen met

huishoudelijk vuil worden weggegooid. Gelieve te laten recyclen bij de

daartoe aangewezen faciliteiten. Neem contact op met uw gemeente of

plaatselijke winkel voor advies over recycling.

VOORAFGAAND AAN HET EERSTE GEBRUIK

• Draai het apparaat ondersteboven en plaats deze op een zachte

ondergrond om krassen op de behuizing te voorkomen.

• Schroef de vleugelmoeren van de U-vormige bout, en plaats het U-

vormige bout tussen de buitenste vinnen met de schroefdraad naar

boven.

• Plaats de wiel montageplaat over de draadeinden van de U-vormige bout

en schroef de de vleugelmoeren er terug op.

• Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond. Zorg voor

minimaal 10 cm vrije ruimte rondom het apparaat. Dit apparaat is niet

geschikt voor inbouw of gebruik buitenshuis.

• Als het apparaat voor de eerste keer wordt aangezet, ontstaat een lichte

geur. Dit is normaal, zorg voor voldoende ventilatie. Deze geur is maar

tijdelijk en zal spoedig vervliegen.

GEBRUIK

Powerknop

• Draai de power rechtsom om de kachel in te schakelen: 1 = verwarming

op lage temperatuur, 2 = verwarming op middelhoge temperatuur, 3 =

verwarming op hoge temperatuur.

Thermostaatknop

• Voor het instellen van de gewenste kamertemperatuur: draai de knop zo

ver mogelijk naar rechts en wacht totdat de gewenste temperatuur is

bereikt. Draai de knop vervolgens geleidelijk terug, totdat de

controlelamp is gedoofd. De positie van de knop komt nu overeen met

de gewenste temperatuur.

• Draai voor het uitschakelen van de kachel de thermostaatknop linksom

totdat hij stopt en de vermogensschakelaar naar '0'.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

• Verwijder de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat afkoelen.

Gebruik een zachte, iets vochtige doek om het apparaat schoon te

maken. Zorg ervoor dat er geen water of andere vloeistof in het apparaat

komt.

• Reinig de lucht aanzuigopening van tijd tot tijd grondig met een fijne

borstel.

MILIEU

Dit apparaat mag aan het einde van de levensduur niet bij het

normale huisafval worden gedeponeerd, maar moet bij een speciaal

inzamelpunt voor hergebruik van elektrische en elektronische apparaten

worden aangeboden. Het symbool op het apparaat, in de

gebruiksaanwijzing en op de verpakking attendeert u hierop. De in het

apparaat gebruikte materialen kunnen worden gerecycled. Met het

recyclen van gebruikte huishoudelijke apparaten levert u een belangrijke

bijdrage aan de bescherming van ons milieu. Informeer bij uw lokale

overheid naar het inzamelpunt.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION

• Tournez le radiateur à l’envers et le poser sur une surface lisse afin

d'éviter des éraflures au revêtement du radiateur.

• Dévissez les vis papillon de l’étrier fileté, et insérez l’étrier fileté entre les

deux fiches aux extrémités avec les embouts filetés pointant vers le haut.

• Posez la platine à roulettes sur les embouts filetés de l’étrier fileté et

vissez les vis papillon.

• Mettez l'appareil sur une surface stable plate et assurez un dégagement

tout autour de l'appareil d'au moins 10 cm. Cet appareil ne convient pas

à une installation dans une armoire ou à un usage à l'extérieur.

• Lorsque l'appareil est allumé pour la première fois, une légère odeur se

dégage. Ceci est normal et gage d'une ventilation adéquate. Cette odeur

est temporaire et disparaîtra vite.

UTILISATION

Bouton d'alimentation

• Tournez le bouton d'alimentation dans le sens horaire pour mettre le

chauffage en marche: 1 = chauffage faible, 2 = chauffage moyen, 3 =

chauffage élevé.

Molette de thermostat

• Réglage de la température requise pour la pièce: Tournez le bouton au

maximum vers la droite et attendez que la température désirée soit

obtenue. Tournez à nouveau lentement le bouton à l’envers jusqu’à ce

que le voyant de commande soit éteint. La position du bouton

correspond désormais à la température requise.

• Pour arrêter le chauffage, tournez le bouton de thermostat dans le sens

antihoraire pour qu'il s'arrête et tournez le commutateur de réglage de

puissance sur 0.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

• Débranchez l'appareil et laissez-le refroidir. Utilisez un chiffon doux,

légèrement humide pour essuyer les surfaces de l'appareil. Ne laissez

pas l'eau ou d'autres liquides entrer en contact avec l'appareil.

• De temps en temps, nettoyez l’orifice d’aspiration d’air avec une petite

brosse.

ENVIRONNEMENT

Cet appareil ne doit pas être jeté avec les déchets ménagers à la

fin de sa durée de vie, il doit être remis à un centre de recyclage pour les

appareils électriques et électroniques. Ce symbole sur l'appareil, le

manuel d'utilisation et l'emballage attire votre attention sur un point
