IMPORTANT SAFETY GUIDELINES

1. Please read the instruction manual carefully before using the device for the first time and keep it in a safe

place for future reference. If you ever give this device to a new owner, make sure you also include this user

manual.

2. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and people with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

3. Children must not play with the appliance.

4. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and

supervised.

5. Keep the appliance and cord out of the reach of children under 8 years old.

6. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly

qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

7. This appliance is intended for use in household and similar applications such as: Staff kitchen areas in shops,

offices and other working environments, farms, customers in hotels, motels and other residential

environments such as bed and breakfast type environments.

8. Improper operation and handling can lead to device malfunction and injury to the user.

9. This appliance is not suitable for commercial use, nor is it suitable for outdoor use.

10. Before plugging in the mains plug, check that the power and power supply meet the specifications on the

rating plate.

11. Remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning.

12. The parts of the appliance become hot during use. Therefore, the device should only be held by the handle.

Do not touch the metal parts, they will become very hot.

13. Do not immerse the appliance or the plug in water or other liquids. This is life-threatening due to the

electric shock!

14. Make sure that the power cord does not hang over sharp edges and keep the power cord away from hot

objects and open flames.

15. Place the appliance on a stable, flat surface and away from hot objects or open flames (e.g. hot plates).

16. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.

17. The machine should not be operated by means of an external timer or by means of a separate system with

a remote control.

18. This device has not been designed for commercial use.

19. Beware of a hot surface. The baking surfaces as well as the sides and top of the appliance become very hot.

Avoid any contact for risk of burns. Just hold on to the handle. The appliance must always be placed

horizontally during use.

20. If you are using non-stick products, make sure the area can be completely closed off and well ventilated

before other obstacles or animals enter the same area.

21. Refer to the “Cleaning and Maintenance” section of the manual for instructions on how to clean surfaces

that come into contact with food.

This appliance is intended for household and similar use such as: on farms; in Bed & Breakfast-like

environments; in kitchens (for staff) in shops, offices and other work environments; by guests in hotels, motels

and other accommodations.
