Thank you for choosing Silva Commute Bike Light. Commute is

designed to meet the demands of today’s biker or commuter. It

will ensure visibility in traffic, light the way forward and is easy

to attach to the bike handle bar. e and more speed.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Commute bike light consists of the following parts:

 Lamp body with silicone strap

 3 pcs AAA batteries

 Quick guide

BEFORE USE

INSERT BATTERIES

 Open the lid at the bottom of the light unit by pressing the bat-

tery lid release button and gently pull the lid and the battery

compartment out.

 Insert the 3 AAA batteries. When inserting the batteries,

please note the battery polarity. Inserting the batteries the

wrong way may cause permanent damage to the product or

even fire. Always replace all batteries when they are flat and

always use 3 batteries of the same brand.

 Assembly by putting the battery compartment back into the

light.

 Ready!

DURING USE

SWITCH ON YOUR COMMUTE

On top of the lamp there is a push button that controls the differ-

ent light modes.

Available light modes are: Max, Min and Blink

Each press on the button gives you the following light:

 Turns the lamp ON with the LED in maximum power.

 Puts the lamp in min mode

 Flash function

 Starts over from 1

To turn OFF the lamp; press and hold the button for 1 second.

ATTACHMENT

Commute is designed to be used on the bike handle bar with a

diameter of 25 to 32 mm.

AFTER USE

MAINTENANCE

To make sure you get maximum performance from your Com-

mute bike light, clean it regularly with a damp cloth.

If stored for a long period the batteries should be removed.

Headlamp and batteries should be recycled and must not be

thrown in the regular trash. Dispose these items in accordance

with applicable local regulations.

WARRANTY

Silva warrants that, for a period of two (2) years, your Silva

Product will be substantially free of defects in materials and

workmanship under normal use. Silva’s liability under this war-

ranty is limited to repairing or replacing the product. This limited

warranty extends only to the original purchaser.

If the Product proves defective during the Warranty Period

please contact the original place of purchase. Make sure to have

your proof of purchase on hand when returning the product.

Returns cannot be processed without the original proof of

purchase. This warranty does not apply if the Product has been

altered, not been installed, operated, repaired, or maintained

in accordance with instructions supplied by Silva, or has been

subjected to abnormal physical or electrical stress, misuse,

negligence or accident. Neither does the warranty cover normal

wear and tear. Silva is not responsible for any consequences,

direct or indirect, or damage resultant from use of this product.

In no event will Silva’s liability exceed the amount paid by you

for the product. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or

limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above

limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This Warranty is

valid and may be processed only in the country of purchase.
