this product. They contain important information on safety and
use. Please familiarise yourself with the instructions and safety
information before using this product. Use the product only in
perfect condition, as described and for the specified area of

as you use the brace and be sure to include them when handing
on the product to another person.

Intended use
The knee brace “Genu-Active“ is for private use. The bandage
supports, protects and relieves the knee joint.
To be used as support for:
• Injuries to the knee (e.g. strains, sprains or bruises)
• Joint pain due to degradation (gonarthrosis)
• Meniscus damage
• Mild joint instability
• Damage from overuse („patella apex syndrome“,
„Osgood-Schlatter disease“)
• Patella conditions (patella dysplasia following dislocation)
Do not use – or use only after consultation with your
doctor – for:
•External damage
• Complex chronic ligament instabilities
• Circulatory disorders.
• Freshly torn ligaments (cruciate or collateral ligament)
• Eczema or other skin diseases
Safety instructions
Risk of injury
• If problems occur while wearing the bandage, remove the it
immediately and consult a doctor.
• Make sure that the bandage sits firmly, but not too tightly.
The blood supply to the lower leg must not be restricted.
• Check the bandage before each use for tears and damage.
• The product should only be used in perfect condition.
• Never put the bandage on so tightly that the blood circula-
tion is restricted.
• Do not wear the bandage longer than 2 to 3 hours at a
stretch and a maximum of 6 to 8 hours a day.
• Do not wear the bandage while sleeping or during longer
rest phases such as long periods of sitting.
• Wash the areas of skin covered by the bandage thoroughly
and regularly.
• To avoid allergic skin reaction., the skin must be free of
grease, gels, creams, oils or similar materials.
Possible side effects
• If you experience symptoms (such as, e.g. tingling, pain,
swelling) while wearing the bandage, remove the bandage
immediately!
• There is a risk of skin irritation and skin irritations!
In individual cases, skin irritation and reactions and allergic
reactions may occur. Make sure that the stated maximum
wearing periods are not exceeded and the areas of skin cov-
ered by the bandage are thoroughly and regularly washed.
Should any problems or complaints occur, consult a doctor
immediately!
Putting the bandage on
• Pull the bandage from below to above the knee joint so that the
ring-shaped gel pad is positioned in front (Fig. 1).
• Position the bandage so that the knee is enclosed by the ring-
shaped pad (Fig. 2).
• Make sure that the bandage is worn wrinkle-free.
Cleaning and care
• Before using it for the first time, the bandage should be thor-
oughly washed. To do this, remove the spiral springs (Fig. 3)
on both sides before washing.
• After washing, you should thoroughly rinse your bandage
and re-insert the spiral springs.
• Wash separately.
Instructions for disposal
Please dispose of the product in an environmentally-friendly
way through an approved disposal centre or your local waste
facility. Observe currently applicable regulations.
3-year warranty
The product has been created with great care and under con-
stant monitoring. You will receive a 3-year warranty for this
product from the date of purchase. Please keep the receipt. The
warranty is valid only for material and manufacturing faults and
lapses in the event of misuse or improper handling. Your statuto-
ry rights, particularly the warranty rights, are not restricted by
this warranty. If you have any complaints, please contact the
service hotline below or contact us by email. Our service staff
will discuss how to proceed further with you as soon as possi-
ble. In any case, we will personally advise you. The warranty
period is not extended by any repairs under the terms of the
warranty, statutory warranty or goodwill. This also applies to re-
placed and repaired parts. After expiry of the warranty,
