SAFETY

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Take the appliance outthebox.Removethe stickers,protective

foilorplasticfrom thedevice and clean the appliance.(See cleaning

and maintenance.)

• Place the appliance on a flat stable surface and hold at least 30 cm.

• Allow the hotplate to become hot.

• When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odour will

occur. This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This smell is only

temporary and will soon fade.

USE

• Connectthepower cable tothe socket.(Note: Make surethe indicated

voltage on the devicematchesthe localvoltage beforeconnecting the

device.Voltage220V-240V 50-60Hz.)

• Turn the temperature knob to max and the green ready light goes on.

Indicating the appliance is heating up.

• Allow your appliance to pre-heat until the green ready light goes off. This

indicates that the cooking plate have reached the correct temperature for

cooking.

• The heating plate should be rubbed in with some food oil.

• Place a small quantity of the prepared paste on the heating plate and

distribute these evenly with the help of the paste spatula. Rub the edge

of the baking surface occasionally with a moistened cloth so the crepes

can be removed more easily after baking.

• The green ready light will continue to goes on and off during the cooking

process indicating that the appliance is heating up appropriately.

• Allow the crepe to cook until the surface is no longer liquid and the crepe

can be moved slightly.

• After about 45 seconds use the spatula to turn the crepe. The correct

baking time depends on the dough mixture and the desired browning of

the Crepes.

• Adjust the temperature as needed after the first crepe is done.

• Note: Never use metal articles for distributing the paste and/or for turning

or taking the Crepes, since it could damage the non-adhesive coating of

the heating plate.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool

down.

• Never pour cold water on a hot plate, this could damage the device and

can cause splashing hot water.

• Clean the hotplate with hot water, washing-up liquid and a damp cloth or

soft brush. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel

wool, which damages the device.

• Clean the appliance’s housing with a soft, damp cloth.

• Never immerse the electrical appliance in water or any other liquid. The

appliance is not dishwasher proof.

• Make sure the appliance is thoroughly dry before storing it.

ENVIRONMENT

This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the

end of its durability, but must be offered at a central point for the recycling

of electric and electronic domestic appliances. This symbol on the

VOORAFGAAND AAN HET EERSTE GEBRUIK

• Haal het apparaat uit de doos.Verwijder de stickers, de beschermfolie of

het plastic van het apparaat. Reinig het apparaat. (Zie "Reiniging en

onderhoud".)

• Zet het apparaat op een vlakke stabiele ondergrond en houd minstens

30 cm vrije ruimte rondom. Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat rechtop staat.

• Sluit de voedingskabel aan op het stopcontact en schakel het apparaat

in.(Let op: Zorg er voor het aansluiten van het apparaat voor dat het op

het apparaat aangegeven voltage overeenkomt met de plaatselijke

netspanning.

• Laat de kookplaat heet worden.

• Als het apparaat voor de eerste keer wordt aangezet, ontstaat een lichte

geur. Dit is normaal, zorg voor voldoende ventilatie. Deze geur is maar

tijdelijk en zal spoedig vervliegen.

GEBRUIK

• Sluit de voedingskabel aan op het stopcontact.(Opmerking: Controleer

of het voltage op het apparaat overeenkomt met de plaatselijke

netspanning voordat u het apparaat aansluit.Voltage 220-240V,

50-60Hz)

• Draai de temperatuurknop naar de maximumstand. Het groene gereed-

lampje gaat branden. Hiermee wordt aangegeven dat het apparaat wordt

opgewarmd.

• Wacht tot het apparaat is voorverwarmd. Het groene gereed-lampje gaat

dan uit. Hiermee wordt aangegeven dat de bakplaat de juiste

baktemperatuur heeft bereikt.

• Smeer de bakplaat in met een beetje olie.

• Plaats een klein beetje deeg op de bakplaat en verdeel dit gelijkmatig

met behulp van de deegspatel. Wrijf de rand van het bakoppervlak zo nu

en dan in met een vochtige doek. De crêpes kunnen dan na het bakken

gemakkelijker van het bakoppervlak worden verwijderd.

• Het groene gereed-lampje blijft aan en uit gaan tijdens het bakproces om

aan te geven dat het apparaat op de juiste temperatuur wordt gehouden.

• Bak de crêpe tot het oppervlak niet meer vloeibaar is en de crêpe een

beetje kan worden verplaatst.

• Gebruik na ongeveer 45 seconden de spatel om de crêpe om te draaien.

De juiste baktijd hangt af van de deegmix en de gewenste kleur van de

crêpes.

• Pas de temperatuur eventueel aan nadat de eerste crêpe is gebakken.

• Let op: Gebruik nooit metalen objecten voor het verdelen van het deeg

en/of voor het omdraaien of verwijderen van de crêpes, want dit kan de

antiaanbaklaag van de warmteplaat beschadigen.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

• Haal voor het schoonmaken de stekker uit het stopcontact en wacht tot

het apparaat afgekoeld is.

• Giet nooit koud water op een hete plaat; dit kan het apparaat

beschadigen en opspattend heet water veroorzaken.

• Reinig de kookplaat met warm water, afwasmiddel en een vochtige doek

of een zachte borstel. Gebruik nooit agressieve of schurende

reinigingsmiddelen, schuursponzen of staalwol; dit beschadigt het

apparaat.

• Reinig de behuizing van het apparaat met een zachte, vochtige doek.

• Dompel het elektrische apparaat nooit onder in water of andere

vloeistoffen. Het apparaat is niet vaatwasserbestendig.

• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat goed droog is voordat u het opbergt.

MILIEU

Dit apparaat mag aan het einde van de levensduur niet bij het

normale huisafval worden gedeponeerd, maar moet bij een speciaal

inzamelpunt voor hergebruik van elektrische en elektronische apparaten

worden aangeboden. Het symbool op het apparaat, in de

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION

• Sortez l'appareil hors de la boîte.Retirez les autocollants et le film

protecteur ou plastique de l'appareil et nettoyez l'appareil. (voir

nettoyage et maintenance)

• Placez l'appareil sur une surface plane et stable, et libérez un espace

d'au moins 30 cm autour de lui. Veillez à ce que l'appareil soit placé en

position verticale.

• Branchez le cordon d'alimentation dans la prise et mettez l'appareil en

marche.(Remarque: Veillez à ce que la tension indiquée sur l’appareil

corresponde à celle du secteur local avant de connecter l'appareil.

• Laissez la plaque chauffante chauffer.

• Lorsque l'appareil est allumé pour la première fois, une légère odeur se

dégage. Ceci est normal et gage d'une ventilation adéquate. Cette odeur

est temporaire et disparaîtra vite.

UTILISATION

• Connectez le câble d'alimentation à la prise.(Remarque : assurez-vous

que la tension indiquée sur l'appareil correspond à la tension locale

avant de brancher l'appareil.Tension 220V-240V, 50-60Hz.)

• Tournez le bouton de température sur son maximum et le témoin

lumineux vert s'allume. Indiquant que l'appareil est en train de chauffer.

• Attendez le témoin lumineux vert s'éteigne, ce qui signifie que votre

appareil est prêt à être utilisé. Cela indique que la plaque de cuisson a

atteint la bonne température.

• De l’huile de cuisson devrait être appliquée sur la plaque de cuisson.

• Placez une faible quantité de la pâte préparée sur la plaque chauffante

et répartissez-la uniformément à l'aide de la spatule à pâte. Frottez le

bord de la surface de cuisson de temps en temps avec un chiffon

humide afin de pouvoir plus facilement retirer les crêpes une fois cuites.

• Le témoin lumineux vert continuera de s'allume et s'éteint pendant le

processus de cuisson indiquant que l'appareil chauffe de façon

appropriée.

• Faites cuire la crêpe jusqu'à ce que la surface ne soit plus liquide et qu'il

est possible de retourner la crêpe.

• Après environ 45 secondes, utilisez la spatule afin de retourner la crêpe.

Le temps de cuisson idéal dépend de la pâte et du brunissement voulu

des crêpes.

• Réglez la température au besoin après la cuisson de la première crêpe.

• Remarque: N'utilisez jamais d’ustensiles métalliques pour répartir la

pâte ou retourner /sortir les crêpes car le revêtement antiadhésif de la

plaque de cuisson pourrait être endommagé.

NETTOYAGE ET MAINTENANCE

• Avant le nettoyage, débranchez l'appareil et attendez qu'il refroidisse.

• Ne versez jamais de l’eau froide sur la plaque chaude, ceci peut

endommager l’appareil et causer des éclaboussures d'eau chaude.

• Nettoyez la plaque chauffante à l'eau chaude, avec du liquide vaisselle

et un chiffon ou une brosse douce humide. N'utilisez pas de produits

nettoyants agressifs ou abrasifs, de tampons à récurer ou de laine de

verre, ceux-ci pourraient endommager l'appareil.

• Nettoyez le boîtier de l'appareil avec un chiffon doux et humide.

• N'immergez jamais l'appareil dans l'eau ou dans tout autre liquide.

L'appareil n'est pas prévu pour un lavage au lave-vaisselle.

• Assurez-vous que l'appareil est complètement sec avant de le ranger.

ENVIRONNEMENT

Cet appareil ne doit pas être jeté avec les déchets ménagers à la

fin de sa durée de vie, il doit être remis à un centre de recyclage pour les
