Information About the Operating Instructions

Before using the product for the fi rst time, please read through

these operating instructions carefully and keep them for future

reference and other users. They form an integral part of the

product. The manufacturer and importer do not accept any

liability if the information in these operating instructions is not

complied with.

INTENDED USE

■ The product is intended to be used to remove calluses

as well as dry skin from your feet and for subsequent foot

care. The callus remover can also be used to treat rough

skin on your hands, for example.

■ The product is suitable for dry and wet application.

■ Only ever use the product on calluses, not on soft skin.

■ The product is designed for personal use only and is not

intended for commercial applications. The product should

only be used as described in the operating instructions.

Any other use is deemed to be improper.

WARNING – Danger of Injury

■ Keep children and animals away from plastic bags and

fi lms! There is a danger of suffocation.

■ Batteries can be deadly if swallowed. Batteries and the

product should be kept out of the reach of children and

animals. If a battery is swallowed, immediate medical

attention must be sought.

There is a danger of burns from

battery acid.

■ If a battery leaks, avoid physical contact with the battery

acid. Wear protective gloves. If you touch battery acid,

rinse the affected areas with abundant clear water straight

away and seek medical assistance immediately. There is a

danger of burns from battery acid.

■ The product is not suitable for people who suffer from

haemophilia, diabetes, or an immunodefi ciency disorder.

If you are unsure whether the product may be used,

consult a responsible doctor.

■ Do not use the product on injured, infected, loose, or

(sun-)burnt skin or in the direct vicinity of acne, birthmarks,

warts or varicose veins.

■ If you have skin problems on your feet, consult a doctor

before using the product.

■ Do not use the product if it is damaged.

NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property

■ Use only the battery type specifi ed in the technical data.

■ Always replace all batteries together. Never use batteries

of different types or brands, or batteries with different

capacities.

■ Take the batteries out of the product when they are dead

or if you will not be using the product for a prolonged

period. This will prevent any damage that might occur if a

battery leaks.

■ Remove a dead battery from the product immediately.

■ The product is splashproof and may be used while show-

ering. Notice! Never use while bathing! Do not immerse in

water! No liquid must get into the product.

■ Protect the product from heat, naked fl ames, direct sunlight,

sub-zero temperatures and impacts. Protect the battery

compartment additionally from persistent moisture and wet

conditions.

■ Never use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents. These

may damage the surface.

■ Use only original accessories from the manufacturer in

order to guarantee that there is no interference that may

prevent the product from working and to avoid possible

damage.

■ Do not make any modifi cations to the product. Do not try

to repair it yourself or to replace any individual parts. In

the event of any damage, contact the customer service

department.

Check the items supplied for completeness and the compo-

nents for transport damage. If you fi nd any damage, do not use

the product but contact our customer service department.

Remove any possible fi lms, stickers or transport protection

from the product. Never remove the rating plate and any

possible warnings!



Three batteries (1.5 V; AAA) are required to use the

light function. These are not supplied with the product.

INSERTING / CHANGING BATTERIES

Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts in

the product and on the batteries are clean, and clean them if

necessary.

1. Unscrew the fi xing ring and remove it together with the

grater attachment.

2. Undo the battery compartment cover clockwise and take it

off.

3. Remove any used batteries and dispose of them in an

environmentally friendly way.

4. Insert three new batteries. Pay attention to the correct

polarity (+ / –).

5. Insert the locking lugs of the battery compartment cover

into the openings provided for it

6. Press down the battery compartment cover and turn it

anticlockwise at the same time.

7. Secure the grater attachment on the base with the fi xing

ring.

TIPS ON USE

• The grater attachment is intended for the coarse removal

of calluses. The silicone pimples are used for cleaning the

skin and for working care products into the treated skin.

• Switch on the light using the On / Off button.

• Make sure that there are no cream or care oil residues on

your feet / hands.

• Do not use the callus remover on one spot for too long

and do not press too fi rmly on the skin.

• Remove the grater attachment before using the silicone

pimples side.

• After treatment, apply cream to the feet / hands so that the

skin becomes soft and tender.

• For reasons of hygiene, the callus remover should be

cleaned after each use. To do this, take off the fi xing ring,

grater attachment and battery compartment cover and

rinse under running water. Dry thoroughly before assem-

bling them again.

• Replace the batteries when the power of the light starts to

wane.

DISPOSAL

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally

friendly manner so that it can be recycled.

Batteries should be removed before disposing of the

product and disposed of separately from the product

at suitable collection points.

This product is governed by the European Directive

2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment

(WEEE). Do not dispose of the product as normal domes-

tic waste, but rather in an environmentally friendly man-

ner via an offi cially approved waste disposal company.

• Darauf achten, dass sich keine Creme- oder Pfl egeölrück-

stände auf den Füßen /Händen befi nden.

• Den Hornhautentferner nicht zu lange auf einer Stelle be-

nutzen und nicht zu stark auf die Haut drücken.

• Vor der Nutzung der Silikon-Noppen-Seite den Raspel-

Aufsatz abnehmen.

• Die Füße / Hände nach der Behandlung eincremen, damit

die Haut weich und zart wird.

• Aus hygienischen Gründen sollte der Hornhautentferner

nach jeder Anwendung gereinigt werden. Dazu Fixierring,

Raspel-Aufsatz und Batteriefachdeckel abnehmen und un-

ter fl ießendem Wasser abspülen. Vor dem Zusammenbau

gründlich abtrocknen.

• Die Batterien bei nachlassender Leistung des Lichtes

wechseln.
