- DANGER OF SCALDING! Never aim the steam at people, animals or plants.

- DANGER OF SCALDING! Only hold the device by the handle when you are using it.

- DANGER OF SCALDING! After you switch off the device, hot steam may continue to emerge for a few seconds. The

cleaning foot, the floor cloth and the carpet glider will then remain hot for a little while. Be aware of this and continue

to handle the device with care immediately after it has been switched off!

• Before using the device, always check the floor cloth for signs of wear. Do not use it if it shows any signs of wear or

if it is damaged. Your flooring could be damaged.

• Use the device only if it is in good working order, has been fully assembled and the floor cloth has been attached.

• Never direct the steam on one spot for longer than around 10 seconds. This may damage the surface.

We recommend that you sweep the floor with a broom or clean it with a vacuum cleaner before doing any steam-

cleaning.

1. Attach to the cleaning foot the floor cloth and, if you want to clean a carpet, the carpet glider.

2. Fill the water reservoir (see the "Filling the Water Reservoir" chapter).

3. Fully unwind the mains cable.

4. To make it easier to handle the device, place the mains cable in the cable holder.

5. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed plug socket that is easily accessible.

6. Place the device in an upright position. The joint of the cleaning foot locks in place in a vertical position. Place the

device down on a surface that can be exposed to hot steam as hot steam emerges from the cleaning foot shortly

after it is switched on!

7. Flip the I O On / Off switch to position I. The red control lamp in the water level indicator lights up and indicates

that the device is heating up.

8. Wait until the blue control lamp lights up and hot steam emerges from the cleaning foot. Then hold the cleaning

foot securely with your shoe, grab hold of the handle and lower it gently towards the floor to release the locked

standing position.

9. Slide the cleaning foot slowly across the floor. The floor is cleaned as you do this. When you rotate the handle, the

cleaning foot is rotated to the left and right.

10. Check the water level indicator from time to time If the reservoir contains too little water or no water at all, switch

off the device (flip the I O On / Off switch to position O) and fill the reservoir up again. NOTE: If the water reservoir

is empty, the device emits a loud humming noise. Top up the water immediately to prevent damage to the device!

11. When you have fi nished cleaning the floor or when you want to wash out the floor cloth, switch off the device (flip

the I O On / Off switch to position O) and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket. Always pull the plug and never

the cable!

12. Wait for a few minutes until the device has cooled down before you remove the floor cloth. Please note that when

you park the device a wet patch can form beneath the cleaning foot.

• Always switch off the device before you fi ll the water reservoir.

• Never pour any cleaning agent or additives into the device. This could destroy the device and safe working is no

longer guaranteed. We recommend that you pour preferably distilled water into the water reservoir in order to

prevent calcifi cation, particularly if your tap water is very hard.

Pull the seal plug off the water reservoir. Pour cold, clean water into the measuring cup that is also supplied. Pour

the water into the water reservoir. The reservoir holds up to 350 ml. Insert the seal plug as far as it will go into the

opening of the water reservoir.

• Always unplug the device and let it cool down completely before cleaning

• Use a soft damp cloth to clean the housing of the device.

• Empty any remaining water from the water tank, do not allow water to stay overnight in the water tank.

• To clean calcium deposits that build up inside the water tank , add one or two tablespoons of white vinegar to a full

water tank, close the water tank cap and then shake the contents. Warning: do not turn the steamer on.

• The microfiber pad is machine washable, always use a mild detergent and for best care results lay it flat to dry.
