12 V Cooler/Warmer

Safety
• Place thecooler/warmer in anarea where there is constant
free airflow available.
• Never cover thecooler/warmer during use.
• Always place thecooler/warmer on aflat, stable surface.
• Do not subject thecooler/warmer to knocks or blows.
• Do not attempt to open thehousing of the cooler/warmer or
modify it in any way.
• All repairs must only be carried out by qualified service technicians.
Note:
• This cooler/warmer contains electronic components
and must only be used indoors, under cover or in such
conditions that it is not exposed to moisture, water or other
liquid.
• Thecooler/warmer is only intended for temporary cooling/
warming. It is not intended for continuous use over
anextended period.
Operating instructions
Note:
• TheLED display of the cooler/warmer is only able to show
theapproximate temperature. Many factors can influence
thebox’s temperature such as theoverall ambient temperature,
how much is packed and how thecontents are packed.
• Turn thecooler/warmer off and let it rest for 5 minutes before
changing between thehot and cold functions.
• Thecooler/warmer has afan for automatic heat and cold
regulation.
1. Connect thecooler/warmer to a12 V socket.
2. Select thedesired function, (HOT) or (COLD) using
thefunction switch (6). Two LED indicators sit above each of
thetwo functions. Green = COLD, red = HOT.
3. Use thelid lock (2) to lock thelid securely in place. Observe
themarkings on lock knob itself to ensure proper locking.
4. Turn theselector switch to OFF to turn cooler/warmer off.
Handy hint
Use thedrinks lid to retrieve drinks in order to maintain aconsistent
cold/hot temperature. Fizzy drink bottles can be easily retrieved
using thedrinks lid.
3. Screw thefuse holder back into place to complete
theprocedure.
Troubleshooting guide
Thecooler/warmer
won’t turn on.
• Make sure that thepower lead is whole,
undamaged and properly connected to
both thebox and 12 V socket.
• Check that the12 V socket is live.
• Check thefuse status in the 12 V plug.
Change if necessary, see theChanging
thefuse section above.
Thecooler/warmer
has anautomatic
fan for heat and
cold regulation.
Theautomatic fan may turn on and off
sporadically in order to maintain proper
temperature regulation. This is completely
normal.

Care, maintenance and storage
• Always turn off thecooler/warmerand make sure it is
unplugged before cleaning.
• Never pour water directly into thecooler/warmer during
cleaning. Wipe theinterior and exterior of thecooler/warmer
with adamp cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never
solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Turn off thecooler/warmer and pull its lead from both
thebox and socket when it is not being used.
• Once cleaned, thecooler/warmer should be stored in adry,
dust-free environment and out of children’s reach.
Replacing the fuse
The12 V plug also doubles as afuse holder. Changing procedure:
