Safety
• Never wind themains lead around theproduct.
• Secure themains lead in aposition where there is no risk of people tripping
over it when you use theproduct.
• If anextension lead is used, ensure that it is suitable for use with theproduct.
• Always unplug theproduct and store it in adry, dust-free environment out of
children’s reach whenever it is not inuse.
• Never leave theproduct unattended when it is connected to thepower supply.
• Certain parts of theproduct become hot duringuse. Onlyhold it using
thehandle. Avoidcontact with eyes, ears, face andneck.
• Only use accessories that are recommended by themanufacturer or retailer.
• The product is only intended for use indoors in thehome and not for
commercialuse.
• Let theproduct cool completely before putting itaway.
• Always ensure that theventilation openings are kept clear from debris and
foreign objects.
• Never use theproduct in conjunction with atimer or other remote-controlled
devices.
• Keep hair away from theairinlet.
• Do not use hair spray when theproduct is turnedon.
• Never cover theair inlet duringuse.
• Never operate theproduct on asoft surface such apillow orquilt.
• Never use theproduct to dry wigs or hair extensions.
• Inspect themains lead regularly for signs of damage. Neveruse theproduct if
themains lead or plug is damaged.
• If themains lead has been damaged, it must only be replaced by
themanufacturer, authorised service facility or qualified tradesman.

Instructions for use
1. Towel-dry your hair first after washing it, before you blow-dry.
2. Make sure that your hands are completely dry and insert theplug into the
wall socket.
3. Select thedesired temperature and fanspeed.
The hair dryer can overheat if theair inlet (2) is obstructed or clogged. Thiscould
cause theoverheating protection totrip. Oncethehair dryer has cooled suf-
ficiently theoverheating protection will automatically reset and thehair dryer can
be usedagain.
Care and maintenance
• Unplug themains lead from thewall socket before cleaning.
• Make sure that theair inlet (2) is clean and free from dust anddirt.
Cleantheproduct using alightly moistenedcloth. Useonly mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals. Makesure that thehair dryer is completely
dry after you have cleaned it, before plugging it into awall socket.
• Always unplug theproduct from thewall socket and store it in adry, dust-free
environment out of children’s reach whenever it is not inuse.

• This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of theproduct in asafe
way and understand thehazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be carried out by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep theproduct and its mains lead out of reach of children under theage of8.
• The product may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or persons with alack of experience or knowledge which could
jeopardise their safety, provided they have been instructed in thesafe operation

• The product should only be connected to a230 V, 50 Hz electrical outlet.
• This product is intended for private domestic use only and only in themanner
described in this instruction manual.
• Never immerse theproduct in water or other liquid.
• Never subject theproduct to high temperatures, dust, heavy vibration, impacts,
humidity or moisture.
• Connect theproduct to themains via anRCD with atripping current of max
30mA. ChecktheRCD before eachuse.
• Do not touch theplug with damp or wethands.
• Bear in mind that theproduct is still connected to theelectrical current even if it
is switched off and it is pluggedin.
• Do not carry theproduct by its mainslead.
• Do not use theproduct if it, its mains lead or plug are damaged in anyway.
• Never attempt to open thecasing and repair theproduct yourself. Allrepairs
should only be carried out by qualified service technicians.
• Do not insert any foreign objects into thehousing of theproduct.
• Make sure themains lead is not pinched, drawn over sharp edges, exposed to
hot surfaces or otherwise damaged.
• Do not pull or tug themains lead when unplugging theproduct, grip and pull
theplug itself.

carrying dangerous voltages which if touched may give you anelectricshock.
